REQUIREMENTS

Must possess a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Sciences or MBChB from a recognized University
    Must possess a Master’s Degree in Medical Laboratory, Microbiology, Pathology from a recognized University
    Possession of a Post Graduate Diploma in Health Service Management would be an added advantage

Experience

•     Must have at least nine (9) years relevant working experience five of which should have been in a leadership position at national reference, or research laboratory

RESPONSIBILITIES

Providing technical guidance in the development, implementation, monitoring and review laboratory policies and strategic plans
Providing technical support in developing cost-effective annual work plans and budgets to guide implementation of activities
Working with other regulatory bodies to develop and implement the national laboratory quality assurance system encompassing both public and private sector
Technically support the writing of competitive proposals for resource mobilization and funding requests
