MUSOMA WATER SUPPLY AND SANITATION AUTHORITY is an utility established under section 9 of the water supply and sanitation services in Musoma Municipal city. In this respect the activities of MUWASA have specifically expanded and the authority now invites applications for the suitably qualified and skilled individuals who are dynamic and results oriented to fill the following position
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- To execute Internal Audit programmes according to international standards on auditing
- To ascertain the extent of compliance with prescribed plans procedures and financial and other regulations
- To set and continuously evaluate department performance with the view of maintain highly standards and keeping the staff morale high
- To review audit reports with the authority externals auditors
- To perform any other duties as may be assigned by the managing director
QUALIFICATIONS
- Holder of bachelor degree or advanced Diploma in Accountancy, finance auditing, plus masters degree in Finance, Accounting or business administration’s from a recognized university with a working experience of at least 5 years in relevant field. the candidate should possess on of the following professional CPA (T) ACCA OR CIA and must be registered by NBAA, working knowledge and skills in auditing or accounting packages and must be computer literate
AGE LIMIT
Note above 45 years
REMUNERATION
Active and fringe benefit as per Muwasa Incentives scheme will be offered to the successful candidate
