Tanzania Teachers Union, which operates in Tanzania mainland only is registered trade union that recruits its member from the teaching professional and it has full time staff in every Region. in order to improve its services to its members the union seeks to recruit dedicated, self-motivated, highly committed and well experienced staff to fill the following vacancies based at its headquarter in Dar es Salaam
OVERALL PURPOSE
- To manage the union registry in a modern way of registry keeping
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATIONS
- Holder of an advanced certificate of secondary education
- Diploma in Record management or equivalent qualifications from recognized institutions
- Ability to use computer for keeping record
EXPERIENCE
- working experience of not at least than 5 years in a similar field in a reputable organizations
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- maintain files movement record cards
- look for file and collect them whenever required
- returns files to the cabinet and arrange them in proper order
- keep ready files marked, B.U.A for the supervisor weed out inactive files ie, OLD closed volume, files for people who have died , resigned, retired and those who have been dismisses or determinate
- clack file in the cabinet periodically and ensure order and neatness
- perform any other duties as may be assigned by one's reporting office
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS
